Our client is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their expanding team. We are representinga very successfullogistics/warehousing business with well-established operations throughout the UK.
The position will involve
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of transformation and change projects which support our business growth, improve our efficiency, and make life easier for our people this will vary from group systems and processes including people, finance, fleet, shared services, compliance, transport, warehouse, property, systems and HSEQ.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the PMO Process by sharing knowledge and experience to refine project governance processes, controls, and reporting while identifying and exploiting opportunities for process improvements and innovation to maximise operational efficiency and delivery performance.
- Effectively communicate project related updates to stakeholders in monthly steering committees and weekly updates.
- Based in Cullompton but occasional travel further afield to sites across the UK, as required.
- Experience of delivering change or implementing back-office IT Payroll and HR systems and processes would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Education: PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM PMQ certifiedqualification(s) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering multiple projects concurrently, applying effective controls to manage risks & issues, budgets, and quality within a defined timeframe.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Teams, Jira)
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to all level of stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
