Are you a seasoned Commercial Land Manager with a proven track record in property acquisition and development?

Green Orchard Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting our client, a dynamic and agile business, to find a talented Commercial Land Manager to drive land acquisition efforts across the Southwest region.

This role would be ideal for someone with experience in identifying, appraising, and securing prime commercial development sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage all land acquisition activities, from site identification through to planning consent.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, agents, and landowners.
  • Oversee site appraisals and prepare detailed proposals for board approval.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to align acquisition strategies with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Ensure that all land acquisitions contribute to the operating profit while controlling costs and maximising opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in land transactions and commercial property procurement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of development appraisals and financial reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within a three-hour radius of Exeter to manage land opportunities.
