- Assist the commercial team in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for materials, labor, and other project costs
- Assist in the procurement of subcontractors, suppliers and materials, ensuring compliancewith project specifications and budgetary constraints
- Monitor and track project costs, including variations, change orders, and progress payments,to ensure financial control and accuracy
- Collaborate with the project team to review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist in the valuation of works and certification of payments to subcontractors in accordance with contractual agreements and project milestones
- Participate in site visits and inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance withspecifications, identifying any potential issues or variations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quantity surveying activities, including contracts, correspondence and financial reports
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or construction related
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations andcost analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with quantity surveying software and tools
- A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges ina fast-paced construction environment
- Relevant driving licence
