The role involves supporting Senior Surveyors with commercial duties on a new residential development.
Candidates should have previous experience in a Commercial Assistant/Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveying role and a minimum HNC qualification in Construction or a related subject.
The position offers a salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, with excellent benefits and opportunities for progression.

This regionally focused, vibrant business with an excellent reputation are looking to expand their team with an additional member of staff! Having a number of live sites across Devon, the company are actively looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team to support Senior Surveyors whilst developing your own experience and career on an exciting new residential development in the area.As the Assistant QS on site, you will be required to undertake or support on commercial duties for the scheme including procurement, measurements, agreeing payments, assisting with final accounts and reporting.Applicants should possess:

Previous experience in a Commercial Assistant/Trainee OR Assistant Quantity Surveying role
Construction related experience - ideally housebuilding
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
A good understanding and general interest in construction
A min HNC level qualification in Construction or related subject
A desire to build on your experience and progress
Fully IT literate
