Our client is an independent family run, reputable independent firm of Estate and Letting Agents, and they are looking for an experienced lettings & property management person to join the team in central Exeter with a basic salary in the region of £25-29,000 per annumWell known for their dedication to landlords and tenants, they always strive to exceed expectations through service. We can recommend this firm to work for as we have recruited for them for many years. You will need your own car for appointments, but parking will be provided.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
  • To conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
  • Conducting property rental valuations
  • Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
  • Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
  • Tenancy renewals
  • General property management
  • Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office

The ideal candidate:

  • Well-presented and excellent communication and written skills
  • Minimum of 1 year’s lettings and property management experience
  • Organised with a good attention to detail ·Excellent knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Be a friendly and approachable team member
