A beautiful privately owned estate is seeking a proactive Estate Manager to oversee property maintenance and grounds care. The ideal candidate will be practical, resourceful, and capable of ensuring the smooth running of the estate’s operations. Accommodation is available if required in a 2 bed cottage a short walk from the estate. Duties & Responsibilities• Oversee general property maintenance, including plumbing, heating, and electrical systems.• Proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues across the estate.• Manage the upkeep and enhancement of the estate’s gardens and grounds.• Oversee gardening team to review seasonal planting, mowing, pruning, and general landscaping tasks.• Ensure outdoor areas, pathways, and recreational facilities are well-maintained.• Liaising with the wider team, providing regular updates and acting as point of contact for the family.Requirements• Proven experience managing a private estate or similar property.• Strong knowledge of property and grounds maintenance.• Ability to coordinate with contractors and suppliers as required.• Strong IT and communication skills.• Full UK driving license is essential.Days/Hours: Thursday to Monday 9am to 5:30pm (some flexibility depending on when the family are in residence)Salary: circa £40-45k gpa depending on experiencejob ref:SB1788
