Job Title: Temporary Receptionist

Location: Outskirts of Exeter

Duration: Fixed term, 4 - 6 weeks , ASAP start

Hours: Minimum 4 days cover per week, 8:00am- 6:00pm, half hour lunch

Salary: £11.44 per hour

The Role :. Our client is seeking a receptionist to join their friendly and busy team! Working withing a team of 15 people you will provide crucial support within the admin team, contributing not only to the medical practice but providing an essential service to their patients! You will be responsible for providing a range of reception duties as well as administrative support across the multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties :

  • To be the central point of contact for patients, assisting with and distributing information and enquiries
  • Welcoming patients and visitors to the organisation
  • Monitor and maintain appointment booking systems and patient registrations
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members and secondary care services
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed

About You :

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Previous GP experience, with the use and understanding of System 1 is essential
  • Excellent people skills, emphatic and friendly manner
  • Effective time management, organised and able to plan work load
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Motivated and able to work with high levels of integrity at al times
