An exciting opportunity has arisen within the JMC Aviation, the world's leading Aviation Engineering, Training & recruitment business.

We are looking to recruit a new Recruitment Consultant to join our contract recruitment team based in Exeter, to provide onsite support in the sourcing and management of candidates to fulfil client requirements as well as being responsible for overseeing their own accounts.

The responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant will involve:

- Screening candidates to qualify their relevance for the client and the requirement

- Building trust and confidence with your clients and candidates/contractors providing exceptional customer service

- Ensure relationships and retention of clients and candidates are kept to a high standard whilst effectively managing their expectations

- Encourage the full range of JMC's recruitment services

- To build a solid customer base within your chosen industries

- To make existing client sales and service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business

- To advertise vacancies on the appropriate Websites

- Keep all records accurate and current on the recruitment database

- Conduct telephone/face-to-face interviews with candidates

- Grow the company database of candidates to fulfil client requirements

- Monitor candidates performance for future placement with clients

- Visit clients as and when required

- Help with candidate queries that are raised

- Ensure company compliancy is enforced

- To meet or exceed agreed targets with line manager

- Act within JMC's best interests in terms of margins and profitability

- To provide support to team members and other parts of the company as required

- Keep up to date with market trends and industry movements affecting your sector of recruitment

- Being seen as an expert in your field

- Other duties as directed by Line Manager


In order to be successful in this role, the Recruitment Consultant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- Proven experience working as a recruiter (all industry sectors considered)

- Strong administration and organisational skills

- Strong communication skills

- Being able to work to tight deadlines

- Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work

- Attention to detail is essential

- Professional telephone manner

- Customer focus

- Flexibility within the role

- Experience in a client/customer environment providing exceptional customer service

- Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood

- Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems


Desirable:

- Aviation or Engineering background (advantageous but not essential)

- Experience working within a busy office environment (advantageous but not essential)
