Job Title: Recycling Sorter
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Recycling Sorters. As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in the recycling process by sorting and segregating various materials to ensure proper recycling and waste management. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Sorting Recyclable Materials:Sort through incoming materials to separate recyclables.
- Operating Machinery:Operate conveyor belts, sorting machines, and other equipment efficiently and safely to facilitate the sorting process.
- Maintaining Cleanliness:Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Dispose of waste materials properly according to established procedures.
- Following Safety Protocols:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail:Keen eye for detail to accurately identify and sort different types of materials.
- Safety Consciousness:Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Reliability:Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Working Hours:Monday - Fridays, 6pm-4am.
Working Rate:£13.50 an hour.
