This role is based in a state-of-the-art office near Topsham, offering a creative and collaborative environment. The team works on a diverse range of innovative products, from waterproof wireless chargers to satellite communication solutions for luxury yachts and tablet mounts for recreational vehicles.

Responsibilities:

As a Product Designer with at least 18 months of experience, you will engage in the full lifecycle of product developmentfrom initial design and prototyping through to testing and manufacturing. Working within a supportive team of 68 professionals, you'll have the space to grow, learn, and take ownership of your projects.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in Product Design with experience in 3D CAD/FEA
Passionate about designing high-quality products, particularly those involving plastics and casings
An interest in outdoor activities is a plus
Relevant degree in a related field
Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Proficient in engineering and design, with a solution-oriented approach
Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Highly skilled in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks, with additional expertise in FEA and 3D rendering
