A Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hotel Indigo Exeter plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel's dining services, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and leading the food and beverage team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Motivate and lead the food and beverage team by example, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

  • Operational Support: Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the smooth operation of the department, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards.

  • Training and Development: Support and deliver training to team members, actively developing their skills and knowledge to enhance service quality.

  • Guest Interaction: Maintain a visible presence within the dining outlets to promptly address guest requests and queries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints efficiently and courteously, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining guest satisfaction.

  • Collaboration: Work cooperatively with colleagues across all departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • Standards Compliance: Ensure thorough knowledge and consistent delivery of the company's standard operating procedures within the department.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage offerings and auditing procedures.

  • Preparation: Ensure the department is always prepared for business, including upcoming service periods.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, reporting any hazards, accidents, losses, or damages to management.
