JOB TITLE: Temporary Accounts Assistant - immediate start

LOCATION: Exeter (Clyst Honiton)

HOURLY RATE: 12.50-13.50 per hour DOE

HOURS: 3 days per week (20-24 hours)

Duration: Ongoing

THE ROLE:

Office Angels are working with a well-established company based in Clyst Honiton (Exeter) who are seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant who has a keen eye for detail. Our client is looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, and a passion for numbers where you can develop your skills in a supportive environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Match purchase invoices to purchase orders.

Post financial transactions to the ledger and maintain up-to-date records.

Assist in reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.

Handle data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.

Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to address queries and provide support.

Maintain organised and accurate financial filing systems.

Perform other administrative duties as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department.

KEY SKILLS:

Some practical experience and understanding of accounting principles.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
