Finance Assistant

Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a multi-national business on the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join the team. Our client is a SME business with an impressive scope of services they provide to their industry.

This is a full-time and permanent position (39 hours per week), that would require someone on site 5 days per week. This role can either be based from our client's Holsworthy or Honiton office.

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include but not be limited to:

• Managing both accounts receivables and accounts payables to ensure timely invoicing, collections and payments.
• Reconciling both customer and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
• Conducting bank reconciliations, stock valuations and inventory tracking.
• Managing all credit control processes to ensure collection of outstanding debts.
• Providing support to the wider Finance team and Finance Manager with month end procedures, payroll, audit and more.

Your Profile:

• Prior experience working in a similar Finance Assistant position is essential for this role.
• Excel proficient - having worked with SAGE accounting software is highly desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of £30k plus benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 5% bonus, private medical cover, enhanced sick pay and more.
