The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive school where Food Technology is highly valued as part of the curriculum. You will play a key role in inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students in KS3-KS4.
  • Develop students’ practical skills in food preparation, safety, and hygiene.
  • Foster creativity and enthusiasm for food and nutrition.
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress.
  • Maintain a safe and well-equipped food technology classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum.

About YouWe are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has a degree or relevant experience in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related subject.
  • Has experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level (preferred).
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about food, cooking, and inspiring young people.
  • Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
