Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the school from November. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-level Maths depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Support students in their learning journey, fostering a positive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching GCSE-level Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies.
