Role Overview: We are looking for a Qualified Secondary School Beliefs and Values(RE) Teacher for a long term position, until at least Christmas., starting as soon as possible. The school is located in in Broadclyst nr Exeter. This is a full-time, long-term position that could become permanent with the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering effective lessons that meet the National Curriculum and are suitable for all pupils aged 11 to 16.
  • Ensuring lessons, units, and projects are clearly understood by pupils.
  • Staying current with any changes and developments to the national teaching curriculum.
  • Working with your colleagues to coordinate lesson plans where other subjects can complement your lessons.
  • Being creative and enthusiastic about using different teaching methods, including solo work, group work, whole-class work, demonstrations, and experiments.
  • Following safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
