Right Now Group are currently partnered with an leader who are recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Devon region after a continued period of sustained growth.
If you consider yourself to be suitable for a Field Service role with an Electrical Engineering focus and are open to travel then this could be the ideal role for you.
Ideal Experience:
路 Electrical Engineering background or relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds - NVQ or equivalent
路 Previously Field Service Engineering Experience
路 Experience in Repairing or Installing Catering, Kitchen, white goods, Industrial Equipment or domestic goods i.e. Microwaves, Ovens etc.
IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)
路 Saturday's to be paid at time and a half
路 Sundays to be paid at double time
Salary: 拢30k-拢35k
Role Type: Full - Time Permanent
Location: Exeter/Plymouth/Newquay/Torquay/Taunton - Devon region
Job responsibilities:
- Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realising opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer
- Install, maintain and survey high end Catering/Kitchen appliances
- Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide support required for internal and external customers
- Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role
- Service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs
Desirable skills:
- Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role
- Previous experience in repairing or installing Electrical kitchen appliances, microwaves, ovens, cookers, or industrial equipment
- Electrical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of Electronics/Electrical engineering
- Experience in working out on the road from a van or car
- Good people/customer service skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and days
- Able to work under pressure
- Have good problem-solving acumen
- Able to both work independently and also as part of a team
