A leading charity is seeking a dedicated Senior Outreach Worker to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Outreach Worker, you will be at the forefront of efforts to empower and support vulnerable individuals within the community.
  • Lead and coordinate outreach activities to engage with and support individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to connect with marginalized communities and provide vital assistance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create impactful outreach programs, building strong community relationships.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in outreach work or similar roles within the social services sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • An empathetic and compassionate approach, with a deep understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of outreach work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A relevant qualification in social work, human services, or a related field.
  • Training or certification in trauma-informed care, mental health first aid, or crisis intervention.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
