Supported Housing Service Manager
Salary: 31,400 per year - 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with no sleep-ins or weekends!
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role:
The Service Manager will play a crucial role in the Exeter team, managing Supported Housing and Trainer Tenancies projects. These initiatives provide support to individuals with a history of homelessness in the Exeter area. The primary objective is to deliver high-quality, person-centred support, ensuring the safety and well-being of each person.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide planning, leadership, and direction, meeting statutory and organisational quality standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of relevant buildings, including maintenance and safety, ensuring regular inspections are conducted and monitored.
- Ensure appropriate levels and quality of staff and other resources are available to meet agreed service standards, maintaining a robust staffing rota and providing additional cover if necessary.
- Develop and manage monitoring systems to demonstrate the usage and achievements of the service for your team, the organisation, and external audiences.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle, with business insurance for roles involving travel.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of rough sleeping, multiple complex social needs, and the causes of homelessness.
- Proven management experience in a similar setting.
- Ability to professionally represent the organisation to a wide range of people, including service users, families, neighbours, professionals, and commissioners.
