We now have a fantastic opportunity for a talented developer to join our dynamic web team and play a key role in our continued success.

The Role:

As a PHP WordPress Developer, you'll contribute to the development and enhancement of our business websites. Your key responsibilities will include:

Custom WordPress/WooCommerce Development: Building and maintaining custom themes and plugins, implementing new features, and improving existing functionality.

Back-end and Front-end Development: Ensuring websites are secure, SEO-optimized, and perform efficiently.

Version Control: Collaborating with our team using GitHub to manage and track code changes.

LEMP Stack Management: Setting up and maintaining LEMP environments for both live and local development projects.

Data Integration: Working with our integration software (Zynk) to facilitate seamless data flow between our website, accounting software, and CRM.

Product Management: Occasionally assisting with managing product listings and information.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in setting up and managing LEMP stack server environments.

Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL development.

An eye for design, with the ability to create attractive, user-friendly website features.

Excellent front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience using SCSS, as well as automation tools such as Gulp

A solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

Experience using GitHub for version control.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Experience with WooCommerce (or at least a solid understanding of its functionality).

Our working week is 37.5 hours, and workdays are 9.00am 5.30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Holiday entitlement is 20 Days holiday per year (pro rata) which is increased to 25 days on completion of 5 full years service, plus bank holidays.
