£70,000 - £75,000 + bonus scheme

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation as their first QA Automation Manager/ Lead SDET.
The QA Automation Manager / Lead SDET will set the strategy and execution of testing activities across the business and deliver a test service that ensures quality in a cost-effective manner, including high usage of automation.
QA Automation Manager/ Lead SDET Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies (including automation, security, and non-functional aspects).
- Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage test-related risks, create test plans, and ensure high accuracy in software development lifecycle stages.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain effective communication.
- Oversee testing environments and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and influence over testing processes.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing test strategies across SDLC phases.
- In-depth knowledge of structured testing methodologies and tools, Hands-on expertise with automated testing, Windows applications, and database systems.
- Selenium & Playwright, C#, typescript, JavaScript, AWS, CI/CD, TDD
- Experience in agile and traditional development environments.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for driving quality in software development.
