iO associates are delighted to be partnered with a Government Department in their search for a SC Cleared Senior Python Developer to join the team.

Location: Southwest England (Hybrid working available)
Duration: 9 months
Rate: Around £450 per day (Inside IR35)

In this role, you will be leading the development of technical plans and roadmaps for a specific project. You will be supported by the existing project managers, and act as their Scrum Master to facilitate the delivery team to work effectively.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in using Python, knowledge of quality assurance with Python, especially testing and documentation
  • Experienced in agile development practices, specifically the Scrum framework
  • Strong knowledge of developing and deploying machine learning workflows on cloud platforms such as AzureML
  • Proven track record in working with large structured and unstructured datasets, ideally geospatial data
  • Ability to mentor, coach, train and support others in developing their technical skills, leading to improved output of individuals and the team and the career development of others
