Teaching Assistant

Role Overview: Assist teachers in delivering educational activities and supporting students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Assist with student supervision and welfare.
  • Provide additional support to students as needed.

Primary Duties:

  • Help set up and maintain learning environments.
  • Assist in preparing lesson materials and resources.
  • Support students during lessons and activities.
  • Monitor and record student progress.

  • Communicate with parents about student progress when necessary.

Student Support:

  • Assist with assessing student needs and providing targeted support.

  • Encourage student independence and self-discipline.
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress.

Curriculum Support:

  • Assist in delivering learning activities and adapting them as needed.
  • Support the implementation of learning strategies.
  • Use ICT to enhance learning experiences.
  • Help prepare and organize educational resources.
  • Provide input on the use of specialized aids and resources.

Organizational Support:

  • Follow policies on child protection, Health & Safety, and data protection.
  • Ensure all students have equal access to learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the overall goals and ethos of the organization.
  • Collaborate with other staff and professionals to support student achievement.
  • Participate in professional development and training as required.
