Role Overview:Â Assist teachers in delivering educational activities and supporting students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Assist with student supervision and welfare.
- Provide additional support to students as needed.
Primary Duties:
- Help set up and maintain learning environments.
- Assist in preparing lesson materials and resources.
- Support students during lessons and activities.
- Monitor and record student progress.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student performance.
- Help manage student behavior and promote positive interactions.
- Communicate with parents about student progress when necessary.
Student Support:
- Assist with assessing student needs and providing targeted support.
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage their engagement.
- Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Promote inclusion and support diverse learning needs.
- Encourage student independence and self-discipline.
- Provide feedback to students on their progress.
Curriculum Support:
- Assist in delivering learning activities and adapting them as needed.
- Support the implementation of learning strategies.
- Use ICT to enhance learning experiences.
- Help prepare and organize educational resources.
- Provide input on the use of specialized aids and resources.
Organizational Support:
- Follow policies on child protection, Health & Safety, and data protection.
- Ensure all students have equal access to learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall goals and ethos of the organization.
- Collaborate with other staff and professionals to support student achievement.
- Participate in professional development and training as required.
