About the Role:
  • Full-time position: Work Monday to Friday during term-time.
  • Flexible and rewarding: Engage with children who have special educational needs and help them thrive.
  • Travel required: You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

This role suits candidates with a background or experience in:

  • Supporting children with learning difficulties or behavioural challenges.
  • Working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, or other SEND needs.
  • Psychology, care work, mentoring, or youth/community work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one or group support for children with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create tailored learning plans.

  • Manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
Requirements:
  • A UK driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required).
  • A DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education (support provided).
  • A passion for working with children with SEND and a proactive approach to supporting their development.
