About the Role:Â We are seeking a dedicated and effective PE Teacher to join this dynamic team. The role involves inspiring trust and confidence in students and colleagues, building team commitment, engaging and motivating students, and taking positive action to improve the quality of learning through physical education.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical education curriculum developments.
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Use appropriate strategies and follow policies for behaviour management and classroom management.
- Set well-grounded expectations for students based on prior attainment.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress in physical education; provide constructive feedback and targets.
- Ensure students achieve well relative to their prior attainment in physical education.
- Take responsibility for your professional development and use outcomes to improve teaching and learning in PE.
- Contribute to the policies, aspirations, and plans of your House, curriculum team, and the school.
