Job Description:

Salt Recruitment's Public Sector Technology Contract Team is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a leading Central Government organisation. This position provides a unique chance to apply your expertise in delivery management within a high-profile and impactful environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising project delivery processes, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will leverage your extensive background in government projects to design and implement solutions that enhance team productivity and efficiency.

This role is primarily based in Devon, requiring attendance 3-4 days a month. The contract runs until 29th August 2025 and offers £500 per day inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and Align Objectives: Set measurable project goals and ensure team alignment.
  • Lead Agile Practices: Implement Agile methodologies, including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster flexibility and accountability.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, preferably within Central Government or similar environments.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Jira.
  • A strong track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to implement solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Active SC Clearance is a strict requirement.
