We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Operating Department Practitioners (ODP) and Theatre Nurses to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust team. This is an immediate requirement, and candidates must already be based in the UK.
As part of the theatre team, you will rotate between anaesthetics and scrub roles, working across various general theatre specialities. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
• Maxillofacial (Maxfax)
• Urology
• Vascular
• Plastics
• Orthopaedics (Elective & Trauma)
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support in both anaesthetics and scrub roles within the theatre.
• Deliver high-quality care across a wide range of surgical specialities.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
• Proven experience within a theatre environment, particularly in the specialities listed above.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
