In this role, the PSV/HGV Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses and ancillary vehicles to the highest standards. They will ensure all vehicles are prepared for MOT inspections and meet compliance requirements. Working as part of a dynamic engineering team, they will play a key role in delivering reliable and efficient service.

The ideal PSV/HGV Engineer is a skilled and experienced professional with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering, ideally with PSV or HGV expertise. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. A PCV licence is desirable, and candidates with light vehicle experience are welcome, with training provided as needed.

The Role:

  • Perform regular maintenance, repair, and inspection of buses and ancillary vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections to meet compliance standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a dynamic engineering team.
  • Day Shift: Rolling rota Monday to Saturday.


The Person:

  • Experience in PSV or HGV engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • A PCV license is desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Engineers will be considered, with training provided if required.
