The Focus Training Group are looking for a Qualified Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver bespoke electrical commercial course such as Electric Vehicle Charging, Solar PV, Inspecting and Testing and 18th Edition across our centres. You will also provide cover as an AM2 assessor, but full training will be provided. As Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will receive a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including enhanced holiday, a pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme, life insurance, onsite parking and sick pay. What we’re looking for in a Qualified Electrical Installation Lecturer:
  • Relevant industry qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience ‘on the tools’
  • A Level 3 testing qualification, JIB Card, (Electrician Grade minimum) and an assessor award, or willingness to obtain (fully funded)
  • A teaching qualification
You will need a positive, flexible attitude and good IT skills. Good communication and motivation skills are essential. The successful applicant with need to undergo a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as a condition of the job offer. Working hours will be 37.5 per week Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30. You will be based in either the Plymouth or Exeter centre depending on location and travel between centres will be required.
