Job Title: Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: Exeter, EX1
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern - (6am 2pm, 10am 2pm, 10pm-6am)
Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping critical sites running smoothly? We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join an Engineering team at a large site based in Exeter.
Role Overview:
As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous operation of the site. Working on a continental shift pattern consisting of days and nights. you will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain the site's functionality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance techniques.
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications are essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Willingness to work on a continental shift pattern (days and nights)
