Position Overview: Seeking a dynamic and experienced F&B led operator to head up a venue comprising of three distinct offers incorporating events, restaurant operations & bars / entertainment.

The Role
The Business Manager - Food & Beverage will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding food and beverage experiences that align with our mission and values. Leading a fantastic venue in Exmouth, you will oversee 3 F&B concepts including extensive event space, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations of all three F&B businesses, ensuring seamless service and adherence to high standards.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee consistency in service and quality.
- Work closely with the HOM, Executive Chef, and Finance Manager to monitor financial performance and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.
Leadership & Team Development
- Act as an ambassador for the companys mission, vision, and values.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and customer focus.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and personal development plans for direct reports.
- Support career progression and succession planning through effective training and coaching.
- Facilitate communication across all business units to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with Fire, Health & Safety, Food, and Hygiene regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety checks.
- Train team members on food hygiene, emergency procedures, and best safety practices.
- Safeguard company assets, including stock, cash, and equipment.
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Take full ownership of P&L, budgetary control, and commercial performance of all F&B units.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margins, labour costs, and customer feedback.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Collaborate on pricing and margin strategies, menu development, and product mix.
- Develop and present business plans for each unit to drive profitability and customer engagement.
Business Development & Marketing
- Work alongside the Marketing Coordinator to create and implement strategies that increase brand visibility and drive revenue.
- Identify market trends and opportunities for business growth and innovation.
- Develop partnerships with local organisations and attend networking events.
- Support new product and service development, contributing to long-term business success.
The Candidate
We are seeking a motivated and experienced hospitality professional with:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- A background in food and beverage operations, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
- A commercial mindset with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
