Residential Support Worker - 42 hours a week - TERM TIME

Interaction have a great opportunity for a Residential Care Worker Role withinn a team supporting people from the ages of 9-25. Everyday as a Residential Care Worker is differrent. you'll be supporting young people who live on site to develop their independent living skills, as well as organising social activites.

Pay rate

  • £21,790-£27,863 depending on experience

Shifts

  • Mixture of days and nighs,which will reflect on the pay rate.

As a Residential Care Worker your key responsabilities will be as follows

  • - Ensure you supervise service users evening, overnight and weekeds as required including transport duty for their return home.
  • - Ensuring a caring, ordered and supportive enviroment is provided and maintained for students.
  • - Working within the care provision to promote and develop service users education and independence.
  • - Creating and/or developing holistic support plans and targets that support the service users to develop their education and independence for the future.
  • - Assisting in the behaviour managment.
  • - Accompanying students on recreational activites.
  • - Working as part of a team to provide a programme of evening & weekend activies.
  • -Promoting the social and emotional well-being & development of students.
  • - Regularly liasing with other Academy staff.
  • -Undertaking any administrative tasks linked to the care of the service users- eg keeping records and makinf reports as required.
  • -Keeping up to date with policies
  • -Assisting with the medical and physical needs of the service users.
  • -Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the service users.
