Field Service Engineer
Salary £40k - £50k
Location: Suffolk
nGenium’s new client an exciting manufacturer of leading chemistry equipment is in an exciting period of growth. Through expansion they are looking to train and develop field service engineers in the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire area. You will be delivering end to end service solutions from installation and commissioning to maintenance, service and repair.
In this Field Service Engineer position, you will be responsible for:
- The installation, and commissioning of high-tech chemistry equipment
- Performing maintenance, service and repair to OEM training guidelines.
- Building relationships with clients delivering excellent customer service and advising them on their equipment.
- Providing technical support via phone calls and email.
- Travelling across the UK and globally, 70/30
A suitable field service engineer for this opportunity would need:
- Solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- 2 + years Field Service experience working on Laboratory, scientific or medical equipment
- Full clean driving license and unrestricted right to work
- Educational background in a scientific or engineering field.
