Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious QA Manager to join their business.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

* Oversee the quality, safety, legality, and integrity of our product range, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Implement and enforce factory-related QMS policies through regular audits and coaching sessions.
* Manage and mentor Quality Assurance Assistants, providing guidance and support.
* Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and communicate resolutions in a timely manner.
* Develop and implement preventive measures from factory, internal, and third-party audit findings.
* Document, communicate, and investigate non-conforming materials, including raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished products.
* Coordinate with the Pest Control Provider to maintain documentation and plan corrective actions from site visits.
* Maintain and test physical traceability systems in warehouse and factory environments to ensure efficient operations.
* Ensure calibration and availability of analytical equipment for product and environmental tests, managing repairs and replacements as needed.
* Complete scheduled validation activities, including CCP, pre-requisites, and allergen management.
