Assured Safety Recruitment are excited to be working with this civil engineering organisation as they expand their Health & Safety team.Â
Â
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the Company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Management systems across their projects.Â
Â
Your duties will include but are not limited to:Â

Advise contract and site staff on risk assessments, method statements, safety plans, and general safety issues.

Chair monthly HSEQ meetings, conduct audits/inspections, and ensure non-conformance closure.

Represent the company at safety meetings with clients and subcontractors, and attend pre-start meetings.

Lead accident investigations, produce reports, and ensure corrective actions; distribute safety bulletins.

Communicate safety initiatives, update staff on changes, and liaise with HSQE Director on project summaries.

Assist with in-house safety training, ensure compliance with client Health & Safety standards, and promote best practices.

About you:
You will hold the NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum Health & Safety qualification and experience working in a Health & Safety role in Civil Engineering / Construction.
You will have knowledge of CDM Regulations and excellent communication skills.
Full UK Driving Licence is also required.Â
