Layout Designer

Constructive moves are recruiting for a Layout Designer to join a national housing developer that build traditional housing developments across East Anglia.

Due to the busy nature of the Technical Department this role would ideally suit a Layout Designer with proven experience of working on housing developments.

This role will support the technical/design team to provide a cost effective design/layout service for the region, so AutoCAD skills are essential and some Photoshop and Sketch-up experience would be beneficial as well as the ability to perform hand sketches for feasibility studies.

Duties will/may include:

• Production of sketch and AutoCAD layouts for prospective sites efficiently and accurately.
• Preparing residential planning layouts with accompanying design statements for submission to the local Authority with accuracy so to maintain the company view whilst accommodating the site constraints.
• Supporting the planning application packs with planning authorities, design and access statements working cohesively to maintain a high standard of work and successful planning consents.
