We require a worker who can demonstrate a strong, mature personality in Suffolk. You will be directing the movement and loading/unloading of vehicles and directing the movement of mobile plant.
The Banksman will also control the movements of excavator or other mobile plant, by carefully monitoring the bucket for any obstructions and other vehicle movements and pedestrians, preventing people from putting themselves at risk whilst plant or vehicles are being operated on site in working mode.
Responsibilities:
- Direct excavator operation from a safe position, ensuring visibility and monitoring for obstructions or services.
- Receive work briefings and assist plant operators and vehicle drivers to operate safely, preventing injury or damage.
- Maintain safety by positioning away from work areas, remaining visible to operators, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirement:
- EUSR approved Excavator Banksman Training
