- Hours: Week One 6am - 2pm and Week Two 1:45pm - 10pm (£31-33,000 per annum including shift allowance).
- Overtime: Available daily and is paid at time and a half.
- Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
- Prepare metallic surfaces for further processing, including anodising and passivation.
- Mask components to ensure critical features are protected.
- Operate anodising finishing equipment, both manual and automated.
- Prepare components for finishing processes (e.g., bunging, masking, jigging).
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Pack parts for internal transport and storage.
- Interpret part numbers, drawing issue numbers, process specifications, and finishes.
- Utilize basic measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understand health and safety and COSHH regulations related to hazardous substances.
- Have a basic manufacturing/engineering background.
