- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Ensure all despatch paperwork is completed correctly and attached to shipments.
- Label and prepare goods for despatch, ensuring all relevant documentation is included.
- Operate packing and wrapping machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load goods onto vehicles safely and securely, following company procedures.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to ensure timely despatch of orders.
- Assist with stock checks and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure despatch areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised.
- Assist supervisors with monitoring packaging supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and transport teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any issues with orders, stock, or transport delays to the relevant supervisor.
- Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
- Forklift license (not essential – training may be provided for progression).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills for stock management and despatch recording.
- Proactive and efficient attitude.
