Are you an experienced, enthusiastic Humanities teacher with a passion for leading and inspiring others? We are seeking a Head of Humanities Department to join our prestigious independent day and boarding school in Suffolk, where students are encouraged to thrive academically and personally in a warm, supportive environment.

Set in beautiful private parkland overlooking the River Stour, our school in Suffolk is ideally located, equidistant from Cambridge, Bury St. Edmunds, Colchester, Braintree, and Saffron Walden. We cater to boys and girls aged 11-18, fostering a culture where learning is enjoyable, and each student's educational path is carefully tailored to suit their individual needs.

About the Role:

As our new Head of Humanities Department, you will lead the delivery of history, geography, and social sciences across KS3 and KS4. You will have the rewarding responsibility of managing the humanities curriculum, promoting a dynamic and engaging approach to learning, and supporting our philosophy of making learning enjoyable-even when exams are on the horizon.

Key Responsibilities:
