- Create and run tailored training programmes for machinists.
- Provide classroom and on-the-job training.
- Coordinate external courses and maintain the department’s competency matrix.
- Support appraisals and staff development with feedback and performance evaluations.
- Drive continuous improvement activities.
- Experience in training and developing machinists or manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge of CNC machine operations, metal cutting, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Engineering Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or HNC/HND is ideal
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defence sectors.
