Service Desk Administrator

We are seeking a Service Desk Administrator -to support the day-to-day functions of our in-house systems across the business. This role involves applying new and existing business systems and processes to improve efficiencies and support current and future business needs through the development of new reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Serve as a central point of contact in the IT Department for in-house systems and reporting requirements.
  • Manage the Change and Development request register.
  • Assist the Business Support Manager in developing and implementing changes to the in-house system.
  • Develop and implement reports using dashboards and other reporting tools.
  • Support the IT Systems Manager in managing and maintaining server-based technologies required to support the in-house system.
  • Liaise with external consultants and suppliers to progress support enquiries and scheduled visits to the office as required.
  • Accurately report unresolved problems to line management.
  • Register all calls to the Help Desk, advising on timescales to deal with the problem and responding appropriately.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly systems check and report any issues identified.
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be requested, giving due regard to your role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good administrative skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
  • Operational experience in an IT environment that uses in house Systems and CRMS 
  • Customer-facing skills.
  • A levels or equivalent in a computer-based subject.
