Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creating/Maintaining inventory track sheet for the parts handed over from Stakeholders in the business.
  • Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products for a business in racks / stacking frames / shelves.
  • Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards.
  • Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with Management and other Stakeholders in the business.
  • Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count.
  • Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft.

Education Required:

  • Any Degree, Preferred Automobile.

Experience required:

  • Strong experience in any field of Inventory Management as Inventory Clerk or Material Recording Clerk.
  • Preferably in the automotive field.

Skillset Required:

  • Ability to scan and record product information to maintain accurate inventory data.
  • Stock shelves and distribute incoming merchandise, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assess the quality of product before putting it on store shelves.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Automobile parts knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use overhead crane / stackers/ forklift.
  • Ability to design inventory racks would be an added advantage.
