- Maintain and review the Procedures Manual, Quality Management Manual, Equipment Maintenance, and staff training books.
- Regularly review the HACCP Matrix and keep up to date.
- Produce Product Procurement Forms, Allergen and Nutritional Values for customers. Complete technical documentation or questionnaires requested by the customer.
- Keep up to date with all relevant food legislation.
- Carry out Supplier Audits and type up reports following the visits.
- Carry out regular test product traceability’s and recalls.
- Review all products and suppliers on a regular basis.
- Summarise any complaints as part of the Managers Meetings, and produce a summary where necessary, noting preventive and corrective action.
- Attend any training necessary to fulfil the position.
- Attend Manager review meetings.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, BRC).
- Experience with audits, both internal and external.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
- Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication to liaise effectively with different departments and external auditors.
- Ability to present QA findings and reports clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with quality assurance software or platforms is a plus.
