Job Title: Facility Maintenance Engineer

Location: Brome, IP23 7HN - 5 days per week

Rate: £16.00ph PAYE

Job Description

We are looking for a Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair our factory equipment and provide extended support to Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on factory machinery and equipment.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement repairs.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and minor construction.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor and maintain critical systems like HVAC, fire alarms, and electrical panels.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect heaters, oil tanks, and oil pipelines.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor relationships and coordinate equipment repairs and replacements.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble new equipment and install components.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely.
  • Inventory Management : Maintain a list of all the Tools and consumables used for the maintenance purpose.
  • Escalation Management: Report any unsolvable issues on time to Reporting person and to Vendor and resolve the issues quicker
  • Other extended Support: Jet Wash vehicles, floors, , Setting up Cafeteria for customer visits, visit Guest houses for any fix issues and so on.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
