We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee a critical Highways project focused on the refurbishment of a bridge. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
路Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring the successful delivery of the bridge refurbishment project within the specified time frame and budget.
路Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site.
路Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to maintain progress and quality standards.
路Report on progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
路Ensure all works are conducted in accordance with Highways England standards and specifications.
Essential Requirements:
路Proven experience in supervising Highways and Bridges projects.
路Strong knowledge of bridge refurbishment techniques and processes.
路Previous involvement with Tier One Highways contractors is highly desirable.
路Excellent communication and leadership skills.
路Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain project momentum.
路Relevant certifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS and up-to-date CSCS card.
