Department Production Manager

Just Recruitment is working with a production business, based on the outskirts of Eye, looking to add a Production Manager (department specific) to their team.The key purpose of this role is the responsibility for the running of a production area and ensure a constant, smooth, safe & efficient operation in order to deliver the production plan within agreed budgetary & service levels. There will also be responsibility for setting & achieving KPIs with the Operations Manager & ensuring that customer requirements are met. In order to be considered for this role - you need to have the following:Experience of managing a team of employees in a diverse and pressurised environmentExperience of managing a team to deliver production plans with products with short shelf-life and requiring intensive labour usageProven experience of successfully managing a team including performance management, conduct, adherence to company policies & procedures including disciplinary, grievance & attendance issuesAbility to clearly communicate & build a strong & effective teamYou will also be self-motivated and highly resilient and ideally have experience of a demanding retail or similar customer base.Working hours are 6am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 3pm Friday - overtime is available if wanted.Offering free parking and a competitive package - including various benefits - this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business.
