Responsibilities:
* Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical machinery - including conducting bearing changes, replace large chains and renew sheared drive shaft
* All other maintenance on mechanical machinery
* Collaborate with onsite effectively - as well as gain familiarity with the plant and process
* Document all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inspection reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Recognised Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician/Mechanical Engineer
* Excellent understanding of safety regulations and protocols governing electrical work in a facility, with a commitment to adhering to strict safety standards.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to a positive and safety-focused work environment.
