Your new role
This is a new temporary project officer role supporting a lean and busy team; this job has an expected duration of 12 months. The purpose of the role is to review performance management processes and data (i.e. performance data and external reviews) to identify potential areas of improvement services, preparing recommendations for possible solutions. Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with complaints and casework
  • Carry out service reviews and make recommendations on possible improvements/changes as necessary
  • Analyse data and provide commentary on trends and likely outcomes
  • Provide project management skills to support multiple complex projects, as well as provide performance/risk management
  • Contributing to the production of publications, corporate | business plans as well as external reports and briefings
  • Research for the purpose of identifying areas of best practice

What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this job you will require:

  • Educated to degree level or proven technical and organisational knowledge in a project or business planning environment.
  • Experience of project management.
  • The ability to produce and analyse accurate and relevant reports in a variety of formats and to provide commentary around accurate trend analysis that adds value.
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of IT and web-based applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have a customer-focussed and responsive approach that improves service delivery.
  • The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal/external organisations.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work as part of a team whilst using your own initiative.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across a wide variety of media
