Programme Manager - Enabling & Earthworks 
 
 
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and oversee Enabling and Earthworks delivery under the Civil Works Alliance Agreement. You will direct critical early-stage civil engineering activities and ensure successful planning, design, and execution of key infrastructure components, preparing the site for a major construction projects!
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of Enabling and Earthworks, including bulk excavation, backfill, and early civil structures (e.g., sea defence, diaphragm walls).
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and liaise with contractors, consultants, and advisors.
  • Oversee contract management, cost control, risk, and project scheduling.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven record in complex, regulated project delivery, ideally within nuclear or a similar sector.
  • Experience of managing / influencing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects.
  • Proficient in scheduling, programming, risk, and earned value tools.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and managing high-value contracts.
 
Location: Suffolk - Hybrid
Salary: £115,000 - £125,000
